In February 2025, The Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square made history by performing for the first time in Peru. As part of their world tour “Songs of Hope,” the renowned choir brought their inspiring music to Lima, where they delivered a moving concert before thousands of people. This visit not only marked a significant moment for sacred music in the country but also strengthened cultural and spiritual ties between The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Peruvian community.

The Tabernacle Choir’s first activity in Peru took place on February 19 at the Westin Lima Hotel & Convention Center. At this private event, more than 400 interfaith leaders, government officials, and other distinguished guests gathered to witness a special performance. The rendition of hymns and classical pieces was met with great enthusiasm, highlighting the artistic excellence and the message of peace and hope that the choir conveys through its music.

The main event took place on February 22 at the Estadio Nacional in Lima, where thousands gathered to enjoy the choir and orchestra’s performance.
